What are the access hours?

  • Renters have 24/7 access to their belongings at our Palo, Iowa, self storage facility.

What type of documentation is required to rent a storage unit?  You will need:

  • A checking account for ACH payments or a credit card
  • A photo ID
  • Ability to login & pay online via computer or smartphone

What happens if I forget my unit code and/or information?

  • Please call our property manager for help.  
  • The phone is answered from 9am to 5 pm.

Are there certain items that I cannot store?

  • No persons may live or sleep in the storage unit.
  • No combustible materials may be stored in the storage unit.
  • Non perishable items may be stored in the unit. 
  • No business may be conducted from storage units. 

How do I know what storage unit size is right for me?

  • We have one size storage unit only at our Palo, Iowa, storage location.  Storage units are big enough to store a vehicle, a boat, a snowmobile, a trailer, extra appliances, or household items.  
  • Each storage unit is 25' x 10' x 7'.

How do you keep your units secure?

  • Our storage units are kept secure by fencing, locks, and video surveillance.
  • Coded gates will be added to the property in the near future.  We will provide you with a gate access code when this project is completed. 

What leasing programs do you offer?

  • We offer month to month rentals.

What forms of payment do you accept?

  • ACH, and credit card payments are accepted.  We only accept online payments. We do not accept cash.

How do I make a payment?

  • Login to your account (login button is in the upper right corner) to make a payment.

Are you a self-service storage company?

  • Yes, we are only self service. Moving all items in and out of your rented storage space is your responsibility.  

What is your move out policy?

  • Our move out policy requires a 10 day notice before vacating and you must be out before the next billing cycle to avoid paying for the next month. We do not prorate move outs. When you are ready to move out, remove all your belongings and do not leave anything behind. Make sure the unit is swept clean to avoid any dumping or cleaning fees. Make sure to also remove your lock from the unit and notify a storage employee that you have vacated the unit at: 319-462-1999

What kind of lock do I need for my self storage unit? 

  • A gate key to access the parking lot will be provided to each tenant
  • Renters provide their own padlocks for units. We suggest cylinder locks, which are available at local hardware stores.
